This is my Sh-t List of Debt Collectors. I would advise those to stay off of it. Any how I was creating a blog for each Debt Collection Agency that I found broke the law and committed acts of abuse against the consumer, but a new one is always popping up. So this is one blog documenting the wrongdoings of more than on Junk Debt Buyer.
Firstly, you should check out this article in the New York Times about Encore Capital Group aka Midland Capital Management. They basically admit to alot of their underhanded sneaky and illegal tactics in collecting debts. Here is the link:
